Pros

Easy paycheck, free parking, free health insurance

Cons

What an interesting company. Let me start by saying this is an easy paycheck. Are you accustomed to performance reviews, key indicators, and career goals? Don't expect that here. You do your job, you get paid. Don't you feel honored to work here? It's not challenging. That's cool if you're into that kind of job, kind of like working at the mall when you were a kid. If you have a college degree and experience, you'll scratch your head and wonder what nightmare you've found yourself in. Let's get into the culture. I would compare it to prison cliques. I've never been to jail, but I watch a lot of true crime on Netflix, so I'm knowledgable. There are circles of people and you'll need to find your place. We have the drug circle - these are the weed and drug pushers. Ironically, they drug test all employees, however the drug use is rampant. I believe as a distraction from the work environment. It doesn't affect job performance, it just makes it tolerable. If you need a dealer, you will find one here. Then we have the trysts, the sex-capades, the office shag circle. Employees need distraction because their soul is being crushed from 8am-5pm M-F. Sex is taking place in multiple departments, peer-to-peer and manager to subordinate. It's taking place on-site in the building. Ethically is it wrong? Yes. Lastly, we have the corrupt leadership. Observe and notice Directors leave early, work from home, and receive all of the opportunities to travel to conferences. Also observe the cube employees staying late, never traveling, and gnawing at the chain around their ankle bolted to their cubicle while their leaders check-out early for the weekend and dine on the high horse company dime. I found not one person in leadership who was a strong, effective leader. Salary is flaunted, and you will know what everyone is making. You'll be hard pressed to find someone who's happy. If someone in one of the circles scored a blunt, you'll see a smile. There are veterans who have worked here since the inception of time, and I think they're biding their time until they can run for the hills. Morale is in the toilet. The President, Kevin Kelly, reminds me....have you ever been to Disney World? There's a Hall of Presidents exhibits where robotic human representations move and talk. Kelly pretty much goes through the movements, but it comes off artificial and fake. Feedback falls on deaf ears. Turnover is high. There are no perks, and the company seems financially unstable. They cut amenities like coffee, feminine products and water coolers, along with cutting the health insurance benefits within the last few months. Some of the people are worth knowing. Again, like prison, you're all in this together, doing your time at Genpak. That brings people together. It's traumatic and you will need to lean on your peers to make it through until you can get out.

Pros

Beautiful new Headquarters-but they probably cant pay for it. hmmm in a nice city, yeah. What else....not much

Cons

No career growth or development. RDQ group is backwards, immature, lazy, unprofessional, and harassing. Poorest pay ever. Not a place for professionals with degrees. Training programs are geared at defending insecure backstabbers who have been there way too long. Not challenging interesting work.

Pros

Excellent benefits if you get hired on from the temp service.

Cons

The people here are not exactly quality people. Severe lack of integrity/ethics from management. Sexual/Racist remarks from supervisors/managers are swept under the rug. Corporate human resources seem to only be interested in sweeping problems under the rug to protect local management. If you go over local managements head they find a reason to fire you. (This is illegal.) They roll back you check so that you only get paid for your twelve hour shift, even if you have to stay after a bit to wait on the next employee to arrive. (This is wage theft. Also illegal.)
