Pros

Flexible working hours. as long as you work 8 hours per day.

Cons

I have joined this company less than a month. It was a worst experience in my whole entire career. After I have decided to move on from this company and this is not the ending yet. The typical local HR will find all sort of reasons not to pay your last salary settlement even though I have a valid reason given.

The employee, whom we hired for SAP consultant roles, left the Company abruptly before lunch on 16th Aug. He claimed that he had to attend to his child for the next 3 months who was in hospital and has not returned to office since then. His boss even offered to keep his position open for 3 months. We also told him that we would welcome him back to the office anytime within the three months once his child had recovered, with the condition that he was to provide sufficient proof. As per his employment contract with Company, either he or Company has to give 2 weeks’ notice or salary in lieu should either party decides to terminate the contract. Based on this termination clause, we withheld his 2 weeks’ salary as there was no sufficient proof. There was no wrong doing on our part, and we had clearly communicated to him on this matter. Nonetheless, though he had not really fulfilled the condition, we decided to release his salary on compassionate ground and close the case. We only came to know about his posting on 12 September and were deeply disappointed with his negative post. We hope his child has fully recovered by now and also wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Pros

Great colleagues, smart and wonderful people to work with. (though not all).

Cons

Compensation plans are of 3rd world and perks are not the best if you are not working in HQ. Training is abysmal, I think that word is not in their German dictionary. They do not trust anyone, even their own. Politics are often seen as a power play in upper management and aliens would need to slog hard for this organization. DO NOT offer to change the internal process for the better, have a great idea or even shake anything out of the norm, this would put you in their blacklist book and they shut you out from their many silos. Beware of clowns in grey suits who would try to tell you something positive but it would mean you are already in the hit list. Good that cost cutting measures are in place.

The worst job ever!

Pros

Work Life Balance, flexi working hour, a few good colleagues there. Except that, really cannot think of any other pros.

Cons

Office is old and not clean, sometimes you can see roaches here and there . The HR in Singapore is double-sided stingy person, always smiling with you, but when you are sick need to claim medical expenses, HR will make a lot of troubles on you and trying to dig out what kind of sickness you have. When you decide to leave the company, HR will try to take last advantage from you by deduct extra leaves from you. One of the department got a very rude manager, there are so many people complained him and many good experienced staff left company because of him. After all, Join this company at your own risk.
