Pros

Free parking, hard working co-workers. Blood drive and Vietnam vets collections. Not much else to say that was positive.

Cons

Old buildings with terrible heating and air. Surface cleaning only, so prepare for allergies. New processes being rolled out are convoluted and quirky. Repeatedly saying “we are stabilizing”, yet changes and inconsistency throughout. Configuration Management team is a joke. They do not understand revision control and the importance of document/data management. Mechanical Engineering management is stretched thin and it shows. Controls engineering group needs revamping and a strong, steady leader. Too many managers and not enough workers. Favoritism throughout and silos between departments. The quality department shows no interest in Configuration Management and should be working closely with them. Hundreds of work instructions with multiple versions, all uncontrolled on an internally, public server. Little to no electronic archive process, so literally millions of dollars in technology lost to rotting files. Little to no cross training, so again major loss and waste. Little to no training outside of the initial HR training. No bonuses given in 2017 or 2018. In-house Christmas party was held on the dirty shop floor, with mediocre food.

Pros

Above average benefits and decent co-workers

Cons

The CEO is a very poor leader and afraid of confrontation which creates miscommunication and finger pointing among middle management. Company does not believe in a work-life balance, rather values long hours with antiquated tools and resources. No efficiency in business processes. Siloed department structure. Organization sees employees as pawns versus assets. Bonuses are a thing of the past even though employees are the sole reason anything is accomplished as management continues to sink the ship. A drastic change is needed at the top before there are no employees left. Employee morale at an all-time low!
