Pros

Can't think of any actually. There are some nice people in the working group but that's about all.

Cons

Especially Singapore branch managing the dollars and cents department is very unstructured, poor leadership and runs the department like a mum and pops shop. The workforce is dull and resistant to change. The whole department is like a mortuary! Its like a retirement home and not for young energetic and proactive individuals. The state ozf the people is the reflection of the leadership. That says it all!

Pros

You still get steady income which is more than enough to at least live in Singapore although a lot lower than standard market.

Cons

Employees are being asked to give it everything they have while the company gives 'peanuts' without matching appreciation (the company is having good business but still cutting the bonus). Downsizing manpower too much while reducing 'token of appreciation', thus giving much more workload to the employees. Non-degree holder is unable to get promotion to be engineer level. The top management thinks they are moving towards the correct direction while they actually don't know what is the root cause of current bad situation. No proper training for fresh graduate. The management keeps shouting to everyone that they are supposed to be a thinker while their treatment to employees is not nurturing the employees (the opposite, the treatment makes the employees to be yes-man people). Another thing, HR keeps saying that there is good worklife balance here, but in reality there is no such thing as worklife balance here. If possible, work 24 hours without OT pay (the management really asks the employees to stay back without claiming OT).

Pros

Not anything I can recommend or have a bit of pride in it.

Cons

Everything that can go wrong did go wrong. So wrong that it deserved to be written into any MBA course for "Failure Case Study ".
