Pros
If you are passionate about digital marketing and want to be on the cutting edge of new tech and where the industry is going, this is the place to be. Lots of legacy business and new divisions being built out to reach new segments with new services. This is a caring culture that seeks to build our personal brands and they give us a variety of resources to be perpetual learners. Lots of opportunities to move around within the divisions to learn new skills. The summits are EPIC.
Cons
No cons if you are ok working from home and like to be challenged and work with smart, kind, caring team members.

Pros
Goodway offers access to an array of learning and development resources that can support your career growth within the company. They even provide 1x1 coaching with an L&D (Talent Success) member to help you align your goals to learning paths. If you take advantage of the resources, you could have the opportunity to work in different areas of the business or advance within your field of expertise. The company was fully remote long before the pandemic, so Goodway is ahead of many organizations that recently switched to virtual or hybrid environments. There is a reasonable amount of flexibility offered, so it's easy to schedule appointments outside of work. They also provide unlimited PTO with minimum requirements to ensure people are taking time away. Plus, there is a generous holiday calendar and perks like a month-long paid sabbatical for employees reaching their seventh anniversary. There are at least two in-person companywide events every year. These trips are carefully planned and balanced with learning sessions, leadership presentations, internal networking, and time to connect with your team. You also get to explore cities and enjoy unique experiences. The leadership team cares about employees, listens to feedback, and makes improvements where possible, keeping business needs and their clients in mind.
Cons
Goodway's culture is fantastic at the company level. Most people are kind, brilliant, and supportive individuals who strive to do great work as a team. However, some less positive micro-cultures exist, and your experience is significantly impacted by your team or teams you work with frequently. This can be especially challenging in a remote setting.

Pros
This company offers flexible working arrangements, providing employees with the ability to manage their schedules effectively. Moreover, working here offers opportunities to connect and network with various brands and clients, allowing for professional growth. The company also provides good benefits, making it an attractive option for beginners.
Cons
The CEO's focus seems to be misplaced, as they should concentrate more on leveraging the company's strengths instead of trying too hard to be visible. The CEO's behavior is a cause for concern, as they are not pleasant to work with. However, the owner, who is quite the opposite, had a positive impact on the company's culture. There is a notable lack of diversity efforts across all departments, despite the company's claim of being 70% women. The underrepresentation of women in leadership positions is a significant concern. Additionally, staying with this company for an extended period could lead to being underpaid. On a positive note, if you are seeking easy work with flexibility, this might be acceptable. However, I personally left and immediately received a substantial pay increase. While I enjoyed working here during the initial years, I started feeling undervalued later on. Overall, it could be a great workplace, but it's important to be aware of the issues mentioned above.

Pros
Remote work; friendly people; learning opportunities; benefits are pretty good; most coworkers and management are sympathetic individuals
Cons
Hard to take time off (some teams are too small to use "unlimited PTO", and they make you feel guilty taking a day); still a very 9-5 atmosphere; not a fan of the "look at me"/ bragging culture on certain parts of our team (could just be my team and not company overall)

Pros
Goodway Group really tries. They are very intentional and employee-driven, which I loved. Sometimes it was a bit too much, like every meeting everyone taking a turn to talk through their "failures" that week, but I get the why behind it. So many fun company events, both in person and remote. I feel the work we did was impactful and important to the company. My boss was so amazing, and in hindsight I didn't realize how much she set me up for success by learning from her. I now model my leadership opportunities after what she did, and I'm sooo appreciative for that experience. Looking back, this was the most healthy and supportive work atmosphere I've experienced in my 10 professional years working.
Cons
While the work was impactful, sometimes it was a bit mind-numbing (but I was in a role that wasn't as creative as I'd hoped for). My biggest issue was the lack of growth opportunity within your role. I think I heard rumors that they were working on some sort of "career ladder" type framework, but with how trendy Goodway is, I was hoping a little less corporate and more "I recognize your worth and want to keep you as an employee, so here's a title change." For me, if I'm not growing in a role/company every year or two, then I'm out. While my experience was great because I had an extremely passionate, caring, intelligent, and intentional boss, it sounds like that's not the case for everyone from department to department. There were more rumors about people being suddenly fired, and some of the reasons why coming out didn't sound like the culture Goodway brags about (and was instead protecting subpar leaders).
