Pros
Working in a medium sized agency allows you to get to know your colleagues, great pay, established lines of communication, use of modern technology, and great training.
Cons
Very political, not easy to advance, male dominant, allows the bare minimum for qualifications to carry a badge and gun, doesn’t always fulfill their sworn duties with each and every call, may pass on cases to civil courts for less paperwork, it’s all about who you know.
