Pros

there are hardly any pros of working in this company! one which I can think of - Founder has really good technological concepts , I have learned quite a lot while working with him.

Cons

- This isnt a company, its a Family - So whole company is devidied between two teams 1. Founder's family + Designer lead + and some shoe licking people 2. Those who are not from family or not ready to lick shoes. So starting from lunch to snacks everyone has to follow what family (team) wants to do e.g. time of lunch time of snacks picnics spots (which never happens), if happens generally those are filthy etc - Once you enter in morning, you can go out only once after lunch. - in case you plan to take evening snack outside, soon you will be mailed with freshly backed HR policy - HR is not really HR, as she has no human values. e.g. in case you take leave for some personal reasons, you drop a email with same. she will revert with you question, "what is your personal reasons?" unforunately she doesnt know meaning of word personal. - if founder see you getting close to any other colleague of your, he will start playing some really good politics and you will end up fighting around - Salary is never on time, litteraly during my tenure I used to enquire every month for date of salary - founder has one more policy, i.e. day end policy no matter what time you came. if you leave around 8pm, he will give you a bad look. if you leave around 9pm, he will look at you with no expression if you leave around 10pm, he will give you smile and say bye. on last case, if your luck is good he may offer you ride back to station. and if you think on this ride he ll drop you at station, you are wrong. he will drop you 15 mins away walking distance from station, but you can't say no.. or else 10pm smile will turn in to sad face. - if you think above all was all, you are wrong. this was still good, once you are in notice period things change drastically. all the policy you have been following in your tenure are now more altered for mgmt's benfit. you will not get a single penny during your notice period, and they have very long notice period mine was 1.5 months. after you finish your notice period with all honesty, you will expect full and final settlement on your last day. but guess what you need to fight for that as well. I got mine in 3 installments in 4 months after my last day with this organization. - This company has one more busienss, which is not mentioned anywhere on site. if you are fresher or you have very limited experience. on joining they will ask you for original documents, even if you have performed poorly in your interview you will be selected if you are ready submit documents. then tourture will begin, and if you plan to resign/leave you will ask to pay good amount (much higer then your pay) to get those documents. - another secert is they have GPF, graymatrix provident fund or something. if which, from your first salary, some part of your package will be accounted in your GPF account (imaginary!). so till you have finished your one year, you cant take money from GPF. after a year every year you can withdraw 60% of accumlated amount. and trust me on your full and final, they will give you some calculation which you will never understand. - there is some relative of founder, who works for some good MNC. and he seats in Graymatrix office, and flirts with grls here. not sure why :| - Company uses yahoo chat for internal chat purpose and founder has some software which can intercept all yahoo chats going on in his network. so that was one simple way he uses to keep a check on who talks what with whom. - my tenure at this company was of hardly 13 months. and in that time 36 new employee joined and left before my last day. so you can imagine what is going on in this company

Pros

I don't see any pros to mention here, working environment as usual. 9 a.m. to **p.m. I joined here 4 months back assuming Mon-Fri 9 Hrs, as per discussion in interview. But couldn't not see the office is strictly closed on weekends. I don't understand why they write 9 hours shift on offer letters. Sometimes hr sends a jock.."A.C. are to be used on 25 deg only."...may be because of light bills..!!

Cons

Management is very bad, clients are not the only thing to manage. Retaining employees should be among the priorities. Whatever situation occurs employer should not tell the employees on Friday to cancel ur all the plans and be present in office tomorrow early morning on weekends.

Pros

The only pro is probably the location, which they have fortunately acquired in the corporate park across the Highway.

Cons

The timelines are abrupt, the work is monotonous. Weekend overtimes (minus the overtime payment) is expected, there is no work life balance. They try to encourage work beyond work hours and the bosses and leads are biased about the type of work and profiles allotted. As is the case everywhere, the politics is as ugly as it can be, despite the firm being a SME. All this & they indemnify for a 2 year bond knowing that the monotony and zero growth pattern is all they can provide to hold the employees at ransom for two years.
