Pros

- Supportive CEO that pretty much lets you handle your own business. - Young and talented global team. - 6 months working here is equivalent to 3 years of business school.

Cons

Every startup struggles with work/life balance when trying to reach to the top and GuestReady is no different to such struggles.

Pros

Nice people to work with overall, because we all work in so many different locations, HR always come up with initiatives for team bonding which is pretty nice. Growth is pretty great if you are filled with initiatives in picking up tasks outside your role. Good manager, very understanding, willing to learn from everybody and does not micro manage

Cons

- Very very low salary for a foreign language job - the salary rate was not decided based on market research, they pretty much eyeballed 'this figure sounds like it would work'. - Immense workload with no tangible gratification. Just like someone else mentioned in a recent review, employees were stretched thin from the pandemic, and the CEO refuse to give acceptable raises. Employees have to beg for the raise they were promised. They throw in 50 - 80eur every now and then. Does not appreciate the value employees bring to the table as they view employees as highly dispensable. As much as it is the reality, a lot of the people who work here give the company their 200% and more because it feels like a close-knitted community - I have to say that the company does not deserve it. - I can accept a chaotic unstructured work environment if it’s at an early stage and especially with inexperienced founders/team but the leader has to address it sooner or later. It is normal to wear multiple hats in a startup but it’s not a good sign if it drags out too long.

Pros

-Regular paid events/drinks -Pay slightly above average -Diverse cultural backgrounds since offices are across cities around the globe

Cons

-Managers are skilled as individuals but inexperience in managing teams. -Despite promising flexibility in working, you have to fight hard for it. -Managers will say it is an open space, trusting environment but will not really take into account what you have to say, can be very defensive -Unrealistic expectations, within way less than half a year you are already expected to be an expert about everything albeit them not conducting proper training. -Your work will only be recognised if they are visible and you are a person who would make it appear so. -A lot of people talents went unrecognised due to favouritism. -High hiring rate but also extremely high turnover rate. -Very basic benefits (just medical, no dental or optical despite having to work with the computer for 8 hour/day), low allowance (if you are entitled to). -Not conducive working space, they keep hiring more and more people in the Malaysia branch but there haven't been enough desks for half the people for months. -The amount of workload is not fairly compensated with the amount of salary
