A terrible place to be

Pros

I'm not even sure what to say here. It's... quiet? If you hate interacting with people, and wish to be left alone filling forms...

Cons

It's a big-brother-esque office, where nobody talks because They Are Listening, the computers take screenshots of themselves every 5 seconds, and people literally just sit, zombie-like, at their seats whenever they need a break. You don't get a chance to use your brain. Everything is done strictly by format, with a million canned phrases you MUST use; honestly, the job's better then with an AI then with real live people. No real career here; management expects people to be in and out again within a year.

Pros

Ability to work from home; flexible hours (mostly)

Cons

Low pay, first of all. And bad benefits, which they only pay for part of. I really like my immediate supervisors, but the higher-up bosses regularly make sudden, unpredictable changes to the expectations, threaten to fire people (or just suddenly fire them, without warning), and lash out with questionably legal tactics to avoid any kind of worker organizing. Also, they hire people through several different shell companies (most recently Talentopia, but there are/have been at least three others), and there's just a very shady, screw-over-your-employees attitude, so you really have to keep an eye out. There's a ton of turnover, which means the people still there get regularly overworked, so clients complain, and that gets taken out on the same overworked employees, so turnover increases....
