Pros

Good Compensation System. Have seen senior consultants earning up to 5 figures quarterly commission. Very friendly work environment among peers and some very good mentors providing guidance in company. Only work for this company, if sales and money is your forte and motivation. Only then will this be a good company to work in.

Cons

A lot of time-wasting activities spent on unnecessary meetings and workshops. Workshops are not well planned and there was once I had to stand through a 5 hour workshop on "Passion" which was given by the Chairman (Owner). Workshop quality are low as it is all internal. No external vendors are hired to strengthened the topics discussed. Quarterly meetings are held on Saturdays for the whole company to come together to present the quarter financial situation and KPI. Everybody (other than senior management) knows that it's a waste of time and for "wayang" as the figures for the group/team are inflated to not look bad in front of other groups. No learning and best practice or anything of such involved. Very Long working Hours. If KPI is not met, groups/teams are made to come back on Saturdays. On average, a weekday starts at 8.30A.M and ends around 8 P.M. Sometimes of no fault of the company, as there is a need to meet clients after their working hours. However, the company is not flexible on the start work timing and all have to be there at 8.30A.M, even though the previous night have been spent working till really late. It is not really productive to be in office as some things can be done from home. However, the company do not practice mobile work arrangement. Even if you are 1 minute late, your name will be reflect and shamed through the company email. Not only that, we have to do some morning exercise in which the Chairman (once again) will lead us to do. Asking the ladies to bend down more in their tight skirts and sometimes making inappropriate remarks to staff are the norm. E.g "if you can't do this, you are not good in bed", making ladies do squats in their skirts. According to the company, there is no such thing as "work/life balance". The senior managements feel and say that work and life are one and the same and say that work/life balance is nonsense. Working should be part of you, hence there is no need to balance. Turn-over rate of company is very high. This is because, the management always feels that money can motivate the younger generation when a lot of us are looking at more than that (e.g career progression, jobs satisfaction). In a year, turnover is about 50% - 70%. Most of the junior people in the company are less than a year. Oh yes, very few Singaporeans in this company, mostly foreigners. Annual leave (which is an entitlement) can't be taken if you do not hit your KPI, and the senior management will dictate outright that leave are not suppose to be taken. Even if leave can be taken (after hitting KPI), long leave (more than 2) is frown upon. Day in and Day out, you will just have to chase figures and earn money for the Owners which are very rich I must add. You can forget about going for long holidays trip working for this company.

Pros

Fancy work location in Orchard Road

Cons

1. The Chairman is God in the company. Likes to spend on fine dining restaurants, expensive hotels for his business trips and company functions (but only when the event involves him). The cost will then be borne by the respective business units affecting their bottom line. 2. Management team play along to every nonsensical idea from the Chairman. They are weak in challenging their superior and lack leadership to create a sustainable work place; leading to high turnover. 3. Taking annual leave (anything more than 2 days in a row) requires some earth-shaking reasons unless your sales numbers are flying. 4. There is no such thing as work-life balance. Work is life and life is work, they said. 5. There is little headhunting skill-sets to be acquired these days since delivery is all about speed in contingent business; resulting in low quality of work. 6. When people leave the company, management do not reflect upon themselves to understand the reasons. They are only concern with how low staff strength may affect sales and profitability and then proceed to hire aggressively to fill the gap.

Pros

If you are truly hungry for money at all cost, this is the right place.

Cons

You need to make up lies and stories to get contacts yourself because there is no database. The senior management is like a cult with morning exercises (including a pledge, no less) and brainwashing rhetorics. Open abuse and power harassment when you are not performing.
