Hallmark reviews about "management"

Used to be a company focused on care but management has lost that caring touch. Multiple company-wide layoffs within 6 months and they are laying off high performers because they have high salaries. After layoffs, management doesn't acknowledge people lost or workload impossibilities. Huge push on AI despite valid concerns on implementation and no support on using AI day-to-day...feels like management is pushing AI to cut out jobs for a better financial outlook. Even before layoffs, career progression incredibly unclear and notoriously difficult.

New employees make the old employees very competitive. One lady turned my speed up on my wrapping paper machine so I was far behind my co workers next to me, she was purposely trying to have me over work. Men will instantly flirt your first day, do not cave and tell management.

Low starting wage but increases with good work performance

Heavy emphasis on customer satisfaction, which isn’t necessarily a con, we would go above and beyond to ensure customers were happy.

Management is awful. Its a click of people and if the manager is questioned about any of the shady work you can forget about getting any work. I called out the manager and needless to say, I'm not to be employed again by the company even though I quit. Would not recommend and I've heard of several people having the same issue. I've worked for many people and never had any issues, but can't say the same with Hallmark

The management was awful. Out of touch, unrealistic in their expectations and unwilling to accommodate the "flexible" schedule they advertised. Didn't give enough time to get stores serviced and were quick to criticize when a job was completely finished. Not great to have to leave jobs not completely to stay within the very minimal hours that were allotted each week.

Pay is below market and middle/senior management have no clue what they are doing resulting in constant reorgs
