no professional managers, company wasting a lot of money an time by not training employees, hiring people cos of friendship without electronic knowledge... low salaries !!
Worked two consecutive summers as an intern in the R&D department. Transparent management, all engineering and development carried out in house so access to lots of experience, advice and opportunities for self-improvement. Opportunity for visiting offices abroad.
Cons
Few cons, but little focus given to project and team management so self-sufficiency is mandatory. Location and size of the business precludes much of a social life with co-workers.
Relaxed working atmosphere, very friendly co-workers, family run business, great management, strong health insurance and pension scheme.
Cons
The pay is not the greatest. Perhaps more control within the company would be also beneficial sometimes, but then it would be this great and calm Hanover Displays :)
