      - Biz Travel (Plenty) - Drinking (Great for Alcoholics)

      Cons

      - Small minority of bad but high profile managers. - Bad compensation - Outdated practices - Stuck if you stay too long. Be prepared for a role downgrade if you move laterally.

      Pros

      Good for slow paced, unambitious people who want to get by.

      Cons

      Backward company. Treat employees like children. Low efficiency, and even lower pay. Japanese rotations for middle/upper management roles are terrible. Capped bonuses, no commissions. Company keeps useless staff, whilst doing nothing to keep the capable ones.

      -Not stressful environment -Willing to teach newbies -You can hangout with people from different backgrounds -Travel with allowance -The company is slowly changing and improving its mindset -Company is adjusting salary scheme to match the market

      Cons

      -Conservative in developing business -Not much support for staff in local offices outside Japan -For some department, future business direction is still unclear and can change easily -Not as motivated as singapore subsidiaries of other Japanese trading companies (In terms of company operation, Employee Development, training, Business development)
