Toxic passive aggression

Pros

The office is nice and in a great location.

Cons

Low pay, management expect employees to be on call at all times. One will receive emails from 6am to midnight and be expected to respond immediately. The style of communication here is to throw others under the bus and blame them for their own faults, mishandlings, lack of direction and complete utter disorganization. The workplace culture is catty and cliquey and communicate with micro aggressions and condescension. The place is understaffed and stingy with pay, which is likely the source of upper managements constant sky high stress levels which make junior employees lives frankly hellish and creates unrealistic expectations and needs.

Pros

Great office location, that's about it.

Cons

- Terrible management overall, which stems from the founder who is the absolute worst! - Feels like a sorority group, cliquey and totally immature - Emotions are always high and intense. Someone is always crying. - No benefits, very low pay, and no health coverage!!!

Smoke & Mirrors

Pros

The $ and network for the potential to have an inspiring, inclusive product line and community of women. Non director level staff is hard working and generally kind.

Cons

As stated in other reviews, the upper management team is horrendous. They recently let a bunch of people ago, and now the junior team fears that they could be next. The lack of respect, amount of bullying (which is passed off by "jokes"), and overall mess that is the CEO & director level staff, is comical...specifically comments this summer about food choices/dieting. They're just plain cruel. If it's not their way, you're wrong. As someone else mentioned, even when armed with the analytics to show why something was done, at the end of the day, it's the CEO's way, period, even when it is not what's best for the company. The turnover rate is un-comprehensible, especially as of late. Watching one specific department have a new hire basically every month for over a year, was embarrassing. If something seems "off" or "wrong" upper team is quick to make drastic changes or to get rid of people in the position it relates to. The culture is so toxic, they brought in a "life coach" that upper management has to have routine meetings with, that are essentially therapy sessions re: the CEO. It is hard to show up every day supporting a "mama community" when the image projected is primarily thin, blonde non pregnant models, all hand picked by the elitist CEO herself. If real mama's could be a fly on the wall, they'd run for the hills before supporting this brand. It's hard showing up each day to support a company that is all talk and an office environment that is the opposite of what the company "stands for". Working on holidays is a bonus to the madness.
