Careful of the glass ceiling, they'll raise your hopes when you start but after pulling the illusionary rug from beneath you, they'll kick you the whole way down. The minute you say anything that is different to a very archaic opinion you are public enemy number one. If you're not personally liked, you're pretty much a time bomb - I didn't have this problem but having been there for years, I saw it far too often. Extremely high turnover and on the surface, they have a great 'image' to the outside world but the wiring is well and truly exposed internally and things are a mess. They're very opinionated, almost always making reactive decisions that create a patchwork effect for problems rather than looking at the source of the problem and tackling issues that way. They speak about promotion and training heavily but they'll use you as a cash cow for government funding and will progress you into roles (as 'promotion') to suit the business, even if it's the complete opposite of your own career aspirations. Very little reward, appreciation or motivation to want to work there at all. Target driven with no reward. Constant stress and unhappiness for staff with very little support and the family structure means unless you're willing to suck up to them and say exactly what they want to hear, work at weekends with no time back and tread on your exceptionally hard-working colleagues to benefit yourself by being thought of as a higher rank within the Hawk family, you'll never get anywhere. Would not recommend working here at all.
