Work experience as a bartender

Business outlook

Pros

good food, good price point, easy to make regulars, decent money if you're good at your job.

Cons

1. FB Society is cheap, will take every short cut to avoid having to actually pay their employees or make sure that the conditions inside the building are sustainable for employees or guests. 2. Pay structure isn't great, a bartender is considered an "elevated position" but there is no pay raise that comes with being a bartender. In fact you'll do more work for less money because the servers actually make more money than the bartenders do. 3. Opinions and solutions to problems are not welcomed by management. 4. They play favorites, if you're not liked you'll never be able to move upward.

Pros

Great money but you have to break your back for it.

Cons

Management makes false promises. Kitchen errors all the time. Can never find a manager on the floor. 3 stories, with liquor inventory not updated. Extremely hot on patios
