Pros

Incredible mission and opportunities to make a difference. If you have the right attitude and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, Healthmap will recognize your efforts and offer room to grow. Some really great people to work with: motivated and dedicated to their jobs. I have been working at Healthmap for over 4 years and I definitely see some progress.

Cons

The environment is not for everyone due to the constant changes.

Pros

Remote work, friendly colleagues, thanksgiving dinner get together

Cons

This company continues to lay off people. They are trying to get lean and sell. Sales pipeline, projections were way off, and we’re not landing deals.

Pros

No pros all they have corns

Cons

Absolutely the worst workplace I've ever had the displeasure of working at. If you're considering applying here, I highly recommend you look elsewhere unless you enjoy constant stress, feeling like you're walking on thin ice, and dealing with toxic people every single day. First off, the management is a nightmare. Micro-managing is their specialty, and no task is ever good enough. Even if you get something done right, they’ll find a way to nitpick and make you feel like you’ve failed. It’s exhausting and demoralizing. There's no room for independent thought or creativity—just endless micromanagement and control. The corporate politics here are off the charts. People spend more time trying to climb over each other than actually doing meaningful work. If you're not in the "right" clique, forget about getting any recognition or advancement. Favoritism runs rampant, and you're constantly left out of key decisions that directly affect your work. It’s like a high school cafeteria all over again. The atmosphere is toxic. People are backstabbing, always watching their own backs, and there’s zero collaboration. It’s every person for themselves. If you're someone who values respect and teamwork, this is NOT the place for you. It's a soul-sucking environment where morale is non-existent. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. There’s no work-life balance, and you’re treated like a replaceable cog in a machine. Save yourself the trouble—there are plenty of other companies that actually value their employees and offer a supportive work environment.

Pros

Co- workers are pleasant, ok benefits. Pretty much what most companies offer.

Cons

Poor management leads to layoffs. High turnover! People don't leave bad jobs, they leave bad management. Not a good track record. Plus you lost all you vacation pay when leave the job.

Poor Clinical Leadership

Pros

Remote work, lots of smart people outside of clinical. Innovative company overall

Cons

Clinical leadership is very heavy handed and siloed. There is not much collaboration or clear vision from leaders in this division. Many leaders are in their roles for power and control and not to empower their employees. Many confusing directions and fire drills that frustrate staff and leave them unsure on how to be successful in their roles. Senior leaders are leading with fear vs. collaboration

Pros

Fully remote, competitive salary with decent benefits

Cons

Constant restructuring and evolving job description. Process changes and new initiatives are rolled out without clear vision or direction. No job security...talented people are let go for suggesting ways to optimize projects ( leadership perceives this as insubordination). The constant threat of losing one's job places a constant overwhelming pressure to perform which is counter productive. Nepotism runs rampant within the leadership team and many leaders have neither the knowledge or experience to perform the role. This leads to high turnover in all departments. Systems and processes change daily while policy and procedures are not updated to reflect changes. Overall a gig stress environment where kissing up is valued over quality of work. Talented people are let go if a manager does not like them.

No work life balance

Pros

There are some great people here if you can find them. Remote work.

Cons

When I started and did a meet and greet with several employees in differing roles, I found that most people had been there under 2 years and overall didn’t get a great vibe about their experience with the company. I did my best to take those comments with a grain of salt and move on. I’ve never seen so many VPs, AVPs and directors in place that just sit in meetings and don’t actually contribute to the work. They just tell others what to do and if they change their minds on what they want, it’s your fault. Those in these management positions show little respect for those under them and constantly make condescending remarks. They are constantly “restructuring” and the job description vs expectations are non existent. Each restructuring comes with layoffs that occur monthly. Employees don’t feel valued and are in constant fear of losing their job. The layoffs always come with a vague, rehearsed statement and then say that will be the last….until the next month. Expectations are not clear and often change without knowing. I received a new manager and job title but the manager didn’t have a description of the role or how I should change what I’m doing day to day. Messages are sent at all hours of the day and night with expectations of a response outside of normal business hours. Employees don’t feel trusted that they might know something based on years of experience and elsewhere. Their attempts at quarterly planning were a joke. Well into the quarter and teams are still trying to figure out what they should work on.

Pros

Pay is competitive which is how the company can recruit people.

Cons

The company has had 3 layoffs this year. Nurses laid off and then hire in other parts of the company under a different job title to avoid breaking federal HR rules. Promotion from within is only minimal. Interviews encourage moving up in the company. I am more qualified than many managers yet passed over since I don't live in the region. All my managers have had to fly to get to my location for oversight. Really! About half of the Regional Managers don't live in the area they supervise. Clinical Care Managers are doing the job of 3 people which is part of all the layoffs and we got no raise for taking on all the extra job responsibilities. You have to be quiet to stay under the radar or a great person will get laid off.
