Pros

If you hate your life and want to talk bad about everyone, because your own life is terrible - this job is perfect for you

Cons

The individuals you look after are miss-treated, but you are hopeless on being able to do something about it, if you whistleblow - you risk your job, even though you are told to do so. Constantly short staffed, with staff begging managers to get some agency with no answer. You have to write at least 5 complains for one small thing to even be considered changing even though it is inhumane and quite frankly torture. Managers will only listen to you if you manage to become best friends with them, on top of it they will share the people you support life stories and detailed abuse they went through with everyone, because they know that nothing will happen to them. The managers that were giving massive amounts of psychological abuse and were investigation are still there so you are scared to go to work just because of them

Pros

I love working with autistic people. I work hard to try and make life a little better for the people i support.

Cons

The staff are not respected by management who are mostly in house trained unqualified and thick. The whole company reeks of nepotism .
