Great Company Culture

Pros

I enjoyed my time as an Account Executive at HighMatch. They have a great company culture and leadership. Also, a very cool and easy-to-sell product offering and service.

Cons

The only downside I would say is the lack of upper-ward mobility because it's a smaller organization.

Good place, but with some of the typical issues

Pros

- It's a tiny team under 30 people, so if you get hired, culture fit will typically be a solid one. Also, it means if you speak up, your teammates will hear you. - It's an open-floor concept for everyone except the product team (developers) so the place feels very open. - When they say it's a flexible PTO schedule, they do actually mean that which is rare. Just don't abuse it. - Working remotely is permitted, but working in the office is preferred (some roles are more relaxed on this than others). - The pay is competitive. I've never felt skimped for my profession. - The team lunches happen more than once a month (not always weekly), more often if you're in Sales, and the lunches are always nice. - Quarterly outings happen and are pretty fun. - Free snacks, both healthy and not. - If you want to attend a business conference or class with high relevance to a company objective and you, the company will pay for your attendance. - There is more autonomy in the company management style than there is micromanagement. This also means you'll do better if you have stronger communication skills. - A friendly and safe environment for gays, non-binary, trans, etc.

Cons

- It's a tiny team, so sometimes you get to know things about your coworkers you probably could have done without knowing. Sometimes it causes friction. - It's an open-floor concept so you can hear everyone when they are on client calls or consulting on an issue. White noise generators mitigate some of this, but not enough. Sales calls have to be creative with their space choices. - It's hard to get change to happen. It takes a lot of repeating requests, documenting, proof points of research, and more often than not it still doesn't happen. You have to manage-up and make those who can make change happen think it's their idea which results in you not getting a lot of credit (if any).

Pros

- Leadership cares a lot about their employees and the ideas they contribute to building a great product and company - Flexible work schedule - unlimited vacay! - Seriously, unlimited snacks - Work with really smart people who encourage personal and professional growth on a daily basis - Purpose-driven work - our product provides a lot of insight into everything PEOPLE! - The 401K plan was really important to me and it's great - everyone should be saving for retirement - Cool office space with the best technology and fidget spinners for optimal focus - A fun environment without the corporate bull.

Cons

- Time management can be a challenge in a fast-paced, all hands on deck environment - but it's very rewarding if you can keep up!
