High Speed Office - where the employee is dispensable - be cautious.

Pros

A lot of technologies to gain exposure to. Very busy.

Cons

The turnover of staff at High Speed Office is phenomenal. Management expect you to conform and be micromanaged. If you desist, you will be turfed out. The pressure on performing here is high - if you thought you were giving your best, think again and redouble your efforts. Passing probation (should you get that far) is no guarantee that your employment won't be terminated shortly afterwards. The managing director really plays no part other than to appease the board, and hold monthly performance meetings which are a waste of time. It's manic, it's fast paced, and technical management contribute to a stressful working environment. Training offered is practically non existent.

Pros

None, maybe some people are nice in the company. Good office location.

Cons

A lot. It's the worst place I know. Management talk to you as if you are garbage, no support or proper training given. Induction is 1 day only but it's mainly company overview and how other departments work etc. From day one at the desk, which is usually your second day at work, they dump live tickets on you and you have to work them. Staff turnover is a joke, people are leaving as soon as they realize the poor facts. No nice benefits offered by company, no schemes etc. No flexible working hours as not every staff will be allowed to work flexible hours. General impression is very poor. They pretend it's a great place to work in with lots and lots of training etc. But not all is as they say. It's a bunch of lies.

Pros

You might get a team lunch paid for There really are no other pros about this company apart from a few great people who are not in management work there

Cons

Systems are out of date Processes are ridiculous Managers speak to employees like garbage Holiday requests are never approved All the directors are at each other's throats which in return filters down to employees Turnover of staff is high Managers tell you to do one thing then shout at you for doing it No room for progression No job security as they tend to hire people to show that they have enough employees to manage work load when it comes to ISO reviews and getting loans and once that's done they sack you off!!
