Pros

Half of the workforce is very cosmopolitan but the dominant Swedish and American cultures clash often and drastically.

Cons

No Standards, or best practices implemented at any level. Free for all type of organization.

Pros

Really great technology although..nothing new has been developed for some time.

Cons

Toxic culture. Bad decision making from the top all the way down is rampant in the org. Non-performers are "protected" vs performers have a tendency to "move on" or "part ways." Company continues to double revenues year over year and yet the company can't keep the Sales Executives due to the toxic culture. Too difficult to be successful when the depts that are not responsible for revenue continue to weigh in on the best strategy to grow revenue. Sales has all the responsibility and no power to influence their future. As a seller, if you don't go along with whatever is recommended by other departments, you are over-ruled, blocked and "black-balled". If you are miraculously successful despite the odds, you have to applaud everyone else that blocked the deal, for their help and explain how amazing they were and made such a valuable contribution in extending the sales cycle for months/years at a time. Completely ridiculous when trying to sell to Enterprise level accounts in the Fortune 500. Support employees are frequently too busy to attend to customers due to..who knows what...and then when this behavior is escalated to manager, every excuse in the book is offered as to why that employee has to stay. Seems like a cultural difference between Swedes and Americans, but sets a horrible example and practically impossible to offer great customer service. Only way to keep customers happy is to discount to the extreme rather than actually providing GREAT customer service. After 14 years in business...this organization is stagnant. No real growth without an insane workload and a ton on pressure to make up for all the non-performers.

As you probably heard during our virtual our all-hands meeting and read on our intranet, we are working very hard to strengthen our company culture in every part of the organization, since we know that this could be a challenge within a fast-growing company. Some initiatives are: - Our virtual 3-day kick off with focus on Core Values (In Q1) - A 60-day program for setting cross-functional processes and collaboration (Starting in Q1) - Leadership Training Program (Starting in Q2) - A new Employee Engagement Tool (Starting in Q2) - Our committee for Health, Engagement & Well-being (Started in Q1) If you do not believe that the initiatives above will be enough to create a better culture and foster greater leadership, please reach out to the People Experience Team with specific feedback that we can act on. Pros and cons, but not recommended

Pros

Some really good, smart, competent people who care.

Cons

Lack of alignment, direction and decision making. People who are skilled, competent and deliver results usually quit quickly. Management team plays politics, and doesn't even try to solve the problems that are piling up. Backstabbing. Toxic environment. Lots of buzzwords being thrown around, ideas with no real substance, lack of accountability and execution. Company passes on many opportunities and ideas because of people's egos (and again office politics). Diversity exists only on paper - different opinions don't matter. And if you are a woman thinking to apply here....think twice. You won't be taken seriously and no one will listen to you.

There is always room for improvement, for us to be an even better employer. As you may know, the company has gone from a start-up to a scale up company which means that we have been growing very fast and been expanding the whole company in a short amount of time – which is super fun, but also comes with challenges, especially in the continuous work of creating a sustainable work environment, where our core values permeate the culture.
