It's sales and nothing more

Pros

Depending on how well you can convince people to buy stuff they don't need and you don't feel bad about it, this is for you. A lack of conscience is a plus.

Cons

Base pay is the same as a fast food restaurant. You don't make any commission until you meet your cap, which is usually 400-500.

Pros

I wouldn’t say there are any.

Cons

Says hourly and commission based, but that’s a lie, as commission only begins after you’ve sold $500/week. You’re $10/hr and work 6 days a week. Simple math. So your commission pays for your hourly for the week. You’re not truly hourly. You get 3 days of training in the field and it’s not at all like the 3 hours of training in the office. And then you’re thrown into the field by yourself. They say you’re a “consultant” for DirecTv, BUT you have to sell one higher level contract a day. If you go 3 days without a high sale, you’re put on probation. You are legitimately selling DirecTv in Sam’s Club. Don’t let anything of the job postings fool you. It’s not easy. It’s doable, but you have to teach yourself, if it’s real, anyway. Take everything said with a grain of salt.
