I was one of the impacted employees from sales. I've already landed on my feet.
That said, internally there was no real enablement when I started, I struggled to get up to speed on the product and when we shipped the "platform" last spring, the enablement and support was barely there. No one was ready to sell Human Centered Automation, and a marketing slide deck isn't training.
The pay packages were great! Except when you think that most people weren't making their quota ( myself included) due to a lack of enablement and support from the Sales leaders.
The executive staff was busy painting a picture, but it wasn't accurate and they weren't accountable for it.
I have no idea what the CEO was doing while he was apparently "looking the other way" for several years, but that isn't how you lead.
I am not sure they can recover from this. However, the actual work, the product and the people are amazing. It was awful to be laid off, but the market is hot right now and I've already gotten a new job. I am not bitter and my rating reflects that. I just wish I hadn't wasted my time for the last 1.5 years.
