Pros

Its a great way to get published work out there and you have some leeway to write interesting stories. But that comes at a huge price and you will soon realize what you are getting yourself into. Just look at all the reviews people have posted in the past.

Cons

Where to begin: If you ask any past or present employee they will tell you this place is like an abusive relationship. They really treat you horribly here.... I hate to sound so cynical but I look at other employees and I do not know how they put up with the daily BS. Top editors and management are too scared and worried about their own jobs that they will sell you under the bus. Employees get fired left and right for no reasons and it could come out of nowhere. One week you are getting praised and the next you are getting threatened by your editors that you will be getting fired. No one really cares here and the CEO, seemingly pleasant and nice, are incompetent, or are just looking to make a quick buck and get out and sell the company. Most of what you read at IBTimes.com is really BS and know one really does any reporting. You will most likely spend more than 60 hours a week there maybe more and not get compensated at all for your hard work only to be reprimanded the next day for some small thing.

Pros

Any positive review on this place is a fake post created by HR.

Cons

Negative work environment, editors who have no idea what they're doing, ties to a cult. The list goes on and on.
