      Small Family - but not all small families are good.

      Pros

      Wages are competitive, certain departments are great, CEO was great, the company literally has more money than it knows what to do with. The right department equals a great work place. Lot's of opportunities for growth within certain departments.

      Cons

      Very small company, lack of role definition, extremely political, expectations aren't defined, due to the abundance of money certain managers ask the world. The wrong department equals a terrible situation and I was in the wrong department. Health insurance premiums were very high and the coverage is poor.

      Pros

      Supportive management, reasonable workload, good staff morale and fun work environment.

      Cons

      No comp time for working very long hours when traveling, too many closed door meetings, salary reflects not for profit nature of business even though organization is extremely financially stable. Company policy prevents people from getting references for future jobs. Little to no career advancement opportunities because of small staff.
