Pros
Even if don't do any work you get paid by the funds the other researcher projects. So, if anyone can see this as an pro for getting pay without working, than this is the only one.
Cons
If you are a hard-working Researcher who wins Projects, you will have to "share" your project's budget with the other lazy researchers who do not have any input. In all, you will work more so that you get paid the same or less (if the others have seniority). Somehow it feels like you have to pay a protection fee to have the opportunity to work.
