Pros

The company hires amazing young creatives and developers.

Cons

This company will cripple your mental health. You are unable to perform your duties because everything you do will either be contested by a combative senior employee or you will receive late night abusive messages from the founder. There isn’t any Human Resources or support from senior management to resolve behaviours such as bullying. It really is the epitome of a toxic workplace. There were continuous discussions on how things are going to improve but improvements were never observed. If you're wanting to work here, just take note there are a lot of hidden aspects you won't see on the surface.

Pros

You get to work with VR projects sometimes which is still an emerging medium in this country. The management has a knack of hiring great people (even if inexperienced) so you might work alongside some lovely people.

Cons

Absolute lack of understanding of what psychological safety or good workplace culture is. Pretty toxic boys' club and big egos. Every single project gets discounted to run at a loss for the company so you can't actually have successful projects. Feels more like a vanity project for the founder rather than something they are knowledgeable or passionate about. If you work here, be prepared for a company wide slack rant at 9 pm belittling you without a chance to have a constructive conversation.

A turbulent workplace

Pros

Diverse work, I worked on lots of different kinds of projects. Great people, the team I worked with where supportive and friendly.

Cons

Projects where not managed well, and this lead to projects often blowing out of scope and leading to rushed deadlines. Far more work was required to finish a project than would be otherwise reasonable for a junior artist to accommodate, and due to high turnover, more responsibility often fell to juniors.
