Pros

For a web developer, the technology you work with is constantly evolving. We're always challenged to learn new things and push our skill set to the next level. If you're not learning, your career is stagnating. Imarc's collaborative environment fosters professional growth. The team here is highly self-motivated, dedicated to becoming better at what they do, and always willing to help you grow as well. At the same time, there are still plenty of opportunities for you to work independently.

Cons

If you're looking for a job where you can show up, punch the clock, and do as little as possible, this is not the place for you. If you are a developer who's not serious about learning and growing, this is not the place for you. If you don't like to work with others, and you don't want to help others learn what you already know, this is not the place for you.

Pros

Imarc has nearly doubled in size since I started just 2 years ago. We have 2 offices in Amesbruy, MA (our headquarters, just an hour north of Boston) an office in Santa Cruz, CA and Plano, TX. We have a WeWork card as well so you can work from any office if you'd like! The people are incredibly humble and genuine. Directors are great advocates for their staff and push us to do our absolute best work. The company is great at making sure you have any/all equipment you need. There are monthly happy hours, game nights, and people are very friendly and welcoming to new comers.

Cons

Days are long...work hours are 9-6 but they are flexible if you'd like to do 8:30-5:30. No summer Fridays which is odd to me since its pretty common for agencies to have this benefit.
