Terminal decline

Pros

Still a few decent people left (but for how long?)

Cons

Immersive used to be a fantastic place to work with strong leadership in Product, Design and Engineering as well as an empathetic people team all of whom tamed the CEO’s worst impulses. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. Charlatans have taken over at the most senior level, both in Product and HR. They’ve just announced what seems like another in their endless series of redundancies dropping talented engineers.

A real genuine shame - used to be the place to work!

Pros

Back in the day used to be a very forward thinking and dynamic company paving the way to completely change the face of cybersecurity. Purpose lead, genuinely caring people and some of the most intelligent people I have ever worked with.

Cons

It breaks my heart to see what has happened over the years. Decision making is now prehistorically slow, talent has dwindled, we are being gaslit more than the American public when Donald Trump was in power (btw senior leadership our company stand ups are recorded), and our new investors are out of madmen - so expect 1980’s approach to leadership. Received more investment only for a plethora of redundancies to flow in and each time being promised it’s the last and how much time and strategic thinking went into them (really then why three rounds in less than a year?). Not sure this is the boat for me anymore. This one feels like the titanic, and I’d rather join a forward thinking, dynamic, talent rich, morally grounded, and emotionally intelligent one.
