Pros

Company and products are good. Good for you to learn about security, firewalls, waf and related technologies. It's self-learning if you take initiative.

Cons

*Echo of previous 1 star review* -Management does not listen/care for employees. You are on your own, just doing your job. Nothing is done to help the engineers work less stressful or more manageable (not even technical but also administrative point of view). -No proper training fore new hire but training on the job. -Career progression is zero if you have different opinion with your boss. -Micromanagement even though the workload is already high. -Management is self-centered and do things for their own interests. -Some individuals have bad work ethics that would do anything to climb the ladder. -The churn rate of engineer is the highest that i have seen in all my companies. They have not stopped hiring just to replace engineers that leave less than a year or months. All the good people left.

Pros

1. You can climb if you are good with communication, words and fluffing up things 2. You get nice titles like Tech Lead, Team Lead easily with little to no need at being technically strong or aware of what’s going on 3. Slow pace of work as long as you know how to professionally push work away

Cons

1. People here don’t get promoted by capabilities which lead to stronger and more capable staff leaving 2. Plenty of politics/back stabbing even from the ground up which usually shouldn’t be the case 3. Managers with poor interpersonal and interpretation skills leading to lack of situational awareness 4. Because of point 1, staff try to push responsibilities away and not bother giving quality work like how things used to be 5. Terrible increment structure. Even for promotions 6. Company is going downhill with many business contracts lost. But that means work isn’t as busy as well which is good. 7. Technical strength wise, existing team in APAC is a joke. Try a serious 1-1 technical review with some of the new Tech/Team leads, you’ll be surprised!
