Good environment, everyone is happy and welcoming

MLM pyramid scheme type company - pay isn't hourly, based on sales - you go to gas stations and sell car products/spray - take you to tim hortons for your interview

We at Infinite Group apologize if you feel that our website is not transparent enough. However, on our About Us page it does explain us being a third party marketing company hired by different clients to take their name, product or service to their target market through interactive campaigns and that we do that through a direct face to face marketing method. In regards to our interview process, we do a 3 stage process to be very transparent as we do not want to waste a candidate’s time. The first stage is a preliminary interview explaining what we do and how we represent our clients as well as the growth opportunity, the second stage is to meet our team, see the culture as well as seeing a local promotion or we show that through picture examples in the office setting or over a coffee, the third and final stage is to answer any questions regarding the position, training, growth, hours, pay and scheduling. As for your concerns regarding the pay, as of January 2018 we have restructured our model to meet the requirements of the Employment Standards Act, offering an hourly wage plus commission. We appreciate you taking the time for feedback and wish you all the best !

Pros

"Determine your own destiny" "Be your own boss" "grow at your own pace"

Cons

Everything about it is a con. An actual con, because it's an MLM. Head's up, they'll take you off site to Tim Horton's for your "interview" and will insist they take their car, so you're trapped there and have to listen to their scammy spiel

We at Infinite Group are very sorry if you felt misled. We pride ourselves on being very transparent through the entire interview process, as we are not interested in wasting an applicants, as well as our own time. For that reason we conduct a 3 round interview process. Our preliminary interview explains everything from what we do for our clients to the different positions we are hiring for, as well as obviously interviewing the candidate to make sure our business goals match theirs. For those selected for a second interview, if we have a close by promotion we give these candidates an opportunity to go to an actual onsite promotion. If there is not a local promotion, we show you actual pictures of promotions in the office or over a coffee. This is all then followed by a third round interview where we make our final hiring decisions and answer all unanswered questions. Our goal with this interviewing process is to be as thorough as possible and again, only bring on board the candidates who truly feel this is a good match for them and vise versa. If the "destiny" you are referring to is the opportunity for growth, then we are sorry you felt that was so unattainable. Our training program for management has a proven success record.. For those who get hired for our training program, work hard and maintain an excellent student mentality, they have made this dream a reality. Our goals are to continue helping our loyal employees grow into our business partners and continue expanding at the rapid pace we have been. We wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors.

This Job is a Lie

Pros

Only about 1% of people could possibly be good at this job.

Cons

In their job posting, they claim they are hiring a "PR Assistant". When you go to the job interview you find out that it is business to business sales; which is completely different from Public Relations. They throw you into the deep end without any proper training or help from your co-workers. The girl I was working with took all the sales and didn't help me get any despite it being my first day and I had no idea what I was doing. You spend about 2-3 hours in the office in the morning doing absolutely nothing and wasting time. You walk around the streets of Toronto going into businesses and trying to sell them makeup. They say that if you do not make any sales that day that you still get paid, I worked there a few days and never got any pay for it. They think that mental health is a joke and that you don't need to take time off for it. Against any type of human emotion or feelings.
