UNETHICAL and TOXIC

Pros

Might be suitable if you have no experience and do not mind slaving away for peanuts.

Cons

To start with, this company has zero employee benefit. There’s no welfare or career progression. On top of that, the way they treat their employees is completely unethical. Just take their recent retrenchment in Singapore office for example—the management had asked the employees to take on more responsibilities so that they can keep their jobs. And without any warning, proper communication or compensation, they let these employees go. Whatever you may see on LinkedIn are all lies. The management in their Singapore office shows favoritism. They like to employ friends/ people from their social circle. The management has a few favorite employees who are completely toxic. These “favorite employees” have been speaking ill about the bosses behind their back for years but they somehow get along with the bosses so well that the bosses continue to keep them even during the time of retrenchment. If you have a real talent to offer, go elsewhere. You won’t even get a decent compensation for it. In order to survive here, you must learn to play politics with their favorite employees, which is a complete waste of time.

Pros

pushes you so hard that you will force yourself to learn how to do sales in the most unethical way.

Cons

Awful micro managing from management. Pushes employees for numbers that they do not care where the business is coming from. Unethical way of doing business. Turn over rate is very high. There are people leaving the company every week due to too high level of stress. Forces employees to come back during public holidays to work so as to achieve numbers. During closing period forces employees to buy food back to their desk to call and have their lunch at the same time. Forces employee to call 100-200 mins per day and track call time. Managers will listen to calls. Commission scheme is a scam. some employees can get as low as 1% of their commission instead of the 10% that their have promised during interview. High performing employees only get 6-8% of the deserving commission

Thank you for your feedback. Ink has always done business in professional and ethical manner and we do not allow our employees to go unnoticed if they fail to do the same. Targets are realistic and in line with business’ expectations – they can be reached with hard work and good planning. Sometimes it may happen that business requires to be open on public holidays (mainly because we are operating on the global scale), and employees may be asked to work on these days. However, this is initially communicated in the recruitment stage and all employees who work extra days (or longer hours) will accrue additional holiday days and/or hour off work. Calls at Ink are recorded primarily for training and development purposes, for dispute resolutions and to evidence business transactions, and not so the managers can listen to them as they desire. All employees at Ink are treated with dignity and respect, and if we find out that somebody is not acting in this manner the relevant precaution will be made.

The prefect lie

Pros

They give you all a lot opportunities if you can accept all the nonsense of the management team as many colleagues tend to leave the company within one year or less.

Cons

Where do I start? 1)They sack people and not care about proper payouts and etc. 2) No bonuses and yearly increments. 3) Used to give no panel doctors for staff to visit when they are sick. 4) You need to be the inner circle of the management team to survive or get promoted. 5) A lot of unprofessional behaviour by the management team. 6) Due to the toxic environment, most of the survivors are promoted to management roles but have no leadership qualities.

Thank your for you review. We are more than happy to respond to legitimate reviews but sadly in this case, the title says it all. Having spoken to our colleagues, it is clear that there are too many inaccuracies here for this to be taken seriously. We will continue to invest in our colleagues, be transparent about the sales and commission structure and work with growing the careers of people who what to learn and build with us.
