A special place to work for ambitious and kind people
Pros
- The customers we serve are kind and easy to work with. - The product is best in class making everyone's job easier to accomplish as a result (NPS is super high). - Leadership is thoughtful and experienced when it comes to positioning teams for success. - Leadership is diverse and there are no first time managers. - The engineering team ships well and the company actually listens to customer feedback. - Coworkers are ambitious but also cool people you'd hang out with outside of work and lead interesting lives outside of work. - Remote friendly with the option of going in office as well (Oakland), and with off-sites twice a year to bond with teammates. - Company is filled with high EQ individuals always looking to make it better as we grow. - Company is profitable and growing year-over-year so there isn't influence from outside investors determining arbitrary goals that may not be what is best for customers.
Cons
- If you care about titles, you're unlikely to have that need met since the company is small. The company focuses more on impact that one's work can have and scaling you through your impact. - If you're not used to remote work, you may at times feel less connected to the team than those able to go into the in-person office. - Growing pains of any startup - things are regularly changing (most often for the better though).
