Pros

Commission structure is above average and a healthy attitude toward contract recruiters.

Cons

No management structure at all, along with absolutely no path to progress, it seems the only times I've seen people promoted is because they tried to hand their notice in. Goal posts are frequently moved, one day you're promised something, the next day its taken away. The managers there do everything they can to make you feel guilty for taking holiday, going to the doctors or even company meetings! No trust between management and staff. Senior exec management do not correspond anything effectively across the group. Everything is through whispers and rumors before anything is actually communicated. Terrible company benefits that always have a catch! The list could go on...

Pros

I no longer work here.

Cons

The rot begins at the top. The CEO, Chris Eldridge, albeit a seemingly decent person, is an atrocious leader. I am still uncertain as to whether his lack of knowledge as to what is going on within certain divisions of his business is down to ignorance or a genuine lack of interest. Unfortunately, the same could be said about most of the Board / Senior Leadership team. I would describe the environment as toxic and unfavorable for professional or personal growth. There are few mentors/role models within the business. There is a serious lack of diversity. In the interview process, they will say all the right things and claim you are joining a 'family', 'a collaborative environment' with plenty of opportunity for growth - this is the furthest thing from the truth. I implore you to reach out to some of their ex-employees and do your research. I would recommend InterQuest to anyone looking to be involved in: - Office politics. - Unethical practices. I would NOT recommend InterQuest to anyone looking to be involved in: - A fulfilling career.

InterQuest Group Response

I am disappointed that you have left the business and feel so strongly to write this review. We are committed to offering a safe, encouraging, diverse and successful environment for all of our colleagues to work in. I feel I must comment on one aspect of this review. Since 2016 InterQuest has been running annual and then quarterly anonymous Pulse surveys and we regularly ask staff for feedback on the leadership provided by our senior management team, including me. You clearly have strong feelings, and I don't know what has caused them, but your views are certainly not reflected in the feedback we receive. For example, when we last asked in Q3 of 2021, only 4.3% of staff responded negatively to the question “I trust the senior leadership team to lead InterQuest to future success”. In Q1 this year we asked whether through their actions the senior leadership team demonstrated that the Company’s values (Strength, Pace, Innovation, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork) were important to them. 95% of staff agreed that they did. Of course, we get comments about things that can be improved, and we act on them (that’s why we run our Pulse surveys), but we have never seen such harsh criticism of our senior team. I cannot comment further, but I wish you success in your future career.
