Pros

Working from home is an option. Payment is in US$. They offer great training and learning resources. The experience you get here will definitely open doors for better paying jobs, like remote front desk officer for clinics and hospitals or insurance rep.

Cons

Fixed waiting time between calls is 15 seconds. On a busy day, that's all you get. not even enough to catch a breath. You have to work the first 12 months without vacations, after that you can use them. but good luck resisting one year with no time off. 1 hour lunch break is fine, but other than that throughout the whole day you only get 15 minutes total to rest. 8 hour shifts are unrealistic, most people choose to work 6 days a week on 6 hour shifts because that's all an average person can take. Interpretation is not like a regular desk job, it demands extreme concentration for long periods of time. On your day off, you're exhausted. Hard to do anything other than sleep and rest. 8 months of doing that and I was burnt out. Payment isn't bad, but the job is way too demanding for 3 dollars an hour. In the long run, it's just not worth it.

Pros

-Monthly $$ bonus (only if you've reached 100 hours connected to the system, from 100+ hours there are different bonuses + you need to have a QA score of 85+ which they don't disclose in training)

Cons

-Bad phone app. -Lots of micromananing. -Team Leaders don't care about you or your life outside the job, they all treat you like a number and will make sure you feel that way. -There's no communication at all between Team Leaders, and management in general. If you notify a team leader that you won't be connecting to your shift today, and provide the proper justification, another team leader will nonetheless harass you asking why didn't you connect to your shift. They will also harass you even when you've resigned. -Very low (if not the lowest in the market) salary. -Poor audio quality in most calls (interpreter app related), yet they expect a 100% from you. It's always your fault. -There's no real schedule flexibility. -Lots of policies and formalities that just hinder and slow down the task. -Extremely short breaks. I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than 6 months. Grab the experience and move on, there are far better alternatives in this industry.
