There is much personal progression available within the company. As a engineer, you can be involved in many different projects within the different company's departments.
Cons
It can be very difficult to gain respect with the lower level employees within the company. It took a lot of effort to gain the trust of the operators to get valuable information from them. Operators had a negative perspective of the engineers, and would withhold or provide wrong information regarding the manufacturing processes.
