1. Pay is not worth it for how tiring and the shame u feel from being disregarded and treated badly -7-8/h 2. Seniors are not helpful and can be quite irritated if u make mistake even though some are patient 3. Seniors are not receptive to questions asked and scold u for asking questions or make mistake even if it’s ur first day 4. Customers are terrible to deal with when cashiering 5. Barely any training or teaching provided 6. Seniors hypocritical- tell u not to talk or use phone but they still gather in groups and talk 7. I did not get paid for my 7 hours of work and wasted my time and energy because of the one day notice 8. I barely learnt anything and got no experience as they only let me do cashiering when I have more than one responsibility as the seniors did not want to do cashiering 9. Racist seniors who talked badly behind my friends back in Chinese not knowing that I heard them 10. Called me names and insulted me when I made a mistake even though it’s my first day

Management is old fashioned Tries to be forward thinking but mindset is difficult to adjust Top management incompetent Sales are dropping and stores are closing one by one Keeps repeating the same old events and expects staff to think of new angles, top management should be the ones who are thinking of new ideas No progression After 5 years, your salary will be probably still be lower than a fresh grad pay Join at your own risk
