Thank you for your review, I am sorry that your experience with Ahern was not up to par. We pride ourselves on offering career growth and opportunities through both vertical and lateral opportunities based on our employee’s interests, skillset and the company’s needs. We encourage all managers to discuss career paths with their employees and support one on one career coaching. Growth and development is not limited to promotions or job changes, we also offer different educational opportunities internally and externally.

We stand by our commitment to accountability, performance, and maintaining a culture where all employees are treated with respect and held to consistent standards. Ahern offers a flexible work-from-home benefit of up to three days per week for team members whose performance supports that level of autonomy. Many Ahern employees, including those in the legal department, can and do take advantage of this benefit. We disagree with the characterization of our leadership and culture within the HR and legal departments. These teams have been consistently led with fairness, ethical leadership, and accountability. We have policies and regular feedback mechanisms in place to ensure that team members are treated with respect and are given opportunities to grow and succeed. These include open-door communication, regular performance check-ins, employee surveys, and development plans—tools that are in place to promote transparency and recognition. While no organization is without its challenges, we do not believe the culture described in this review accurately reflects the values we uphold or the experiences of the broader teams. In fact, current employees across these departments report high levels of engagement, collaboration, and support from leadership. We also want to clarify that we do not ask or pressure employees to leave positive reviews. Any positive feedback you may see is voluntary and reflective of those employees’ genuine experiences. We acknowledge that perspectives can vary, and we respect the right of individuals to share their own. However, painting a picture of arbitrary terminations and a fear-based culture simply does not align with how we operate or the standards we hold ourselves to. Good luck in your next endeavor.
