The lack of communication!! You can not ever get ahold of anyone in HR. For over a week no one would answer where I needed to go to work. I eventually got the name of a town but well over 24 hr and never got the address that I had asked for. People work out of town to make a lot more money. JBI doesn't pay well to travel. They expect you to use you own vehicle to drive across the US at only $0.55 a mile to the job site, which doesn't cover gas, tires, oil changes or any repairs needed. The per diem will barely cover hotels let alone any food. You are expected to work out of town for 3 weeks (sundays off) and 1 weekend off at the end of the 3 wks. They will not cover flying home and back or let alone the overnight parking at the airport. I couldn't understand why they had a hard time keeping traveler workers. And it's like it is top secret to get any answers about the traveling part of the company. But now I understand. For the traveling part there are no perks. The only way it would pan out is if you already own an RV and didn't have a family. But the worst is no one will answer your messages or say where to go. I'm not going to beg to work nor pay to work. At one point a guy showed up to the job site that he had been on the week before, paid for the week at the motel, only to be told he was supposed to go somewhere else. No one told him.
