Everyone thinks it is a "cool" place to work, but don't even THINK about it...."

-hmmm...samples sales?!! -once you work there, you can be confident that you can pretty much handle anything- brutal

Cons

-Toxic work environment; use and abuse talent -Poor management starts at the top (very top) and trickles down -Managers do not know how to manage; they need to be taught -Thankless; 10 hour plus work days go unnoticed; never a "thank you" or "great work" -If you are too good at your job, watch out, managers feel threaten -Very, very high turn-over

Seeing a product you create come to life.

Expect to work multiple roles, be overworked and not compensated They do not pay for OT, you get "in Lieu of" days instead - which you won't be able to take, because they will work you like a horse. Manager excepted me to show up to work on Saturdays without extra pay Environment is not clean - with so much textile goods arriving from overseas daily, the air quality was awful. Do not expect a fair pay raise or assessment Management has clear "favorites" amongst your coworkers, and will make that very clear Quantity/Sales overrules quality for everything.

Staff on the associate level is friendly and fun, but a little young. Store level management is good but lacks empowerment to do what is good for business, from corporate.

Cons

Corporate has unrealistic expectations of associates. You want me to dress the way you dress the mannequins? Here are a few ways to make that happen: a. Provide it as a uniform, b. stop being cheap with the discount (it's the worst), c. Stop cutting everyone's hours...we might be able to afford to buy new clothes if we didn't have to worry about how to pay the rent.
