Fired on Demand

Pros

If you believe what you see in the world, then you are grossly mistaken. Don't join because you think the founders are such motivating people. They will fire you whenever they get a chance. The time here was the worst time of my entire life. Everyday, you live in the fear that today it will be you who will be fired. Everyday, they are getting closer to imploding.

Cons

I want to do this in points. 1. I was fired by the founder because I left after i had completed my work and he called me and told me that I didnt have to come from tomorrow. 2. They are a power couple, where the power is with the man and the woman would listen to anything that man says. If you think she is the CEO then you are in for a very big shock. Think of her as a Rabri Devi to a Lalu Prasad(quite literally) 3. Favoritism is prevalent throughout the ranks of the company, people openly tell other people "I will get you fired in 5 minutes". 4. They make extremely tall claims in the world about what they are but once you reach the office you realize its nothing. 5. To build the perception of a company that is working towards the progress of the country they have Indian flags all around the office and to make it look like its a government company. Its true also, because they dont work, just have lot of politics and keep blaming the employees for their own failures. 6. Its a 10 year old company but the founder think he's the 10 year old. He would panick, shout and do anything to put his stupid and pointless point across, basically he acts like a kid when taken their candy away.

Pros

Warm and young co workers

Cons

They hire young people for x job and expect them to do x+y job without any guidance, mentorship or support. If you ask or hint that you need support or guidance you will be questioned and ultimately laid off. There is no space for making mistakes and learning from them here, only the senior management is allowed to do that and they take full advantage of this. The senior management is full of incompetent and inexperienced nobodies who came here for their first internship and didn’t have the balls to go see anything else in the world. This not only reflects poorly on them it adds to the mismanagement that is so rampant at Josh. They pivot from vertical to vertical, having a eureka moment every time they see a new potential source of revenue but don’t have the patience or commitment required to see any of these through. They play on the gullible emotions of the Indian audience and continue filling the Internet with trash clickbaity content, when they could choose to actually educate people and change consumption patterns like they endorse they do. This is not a place where anyone with intelligence and morality can thrive, the setup is such that you can only thrive if you put other people down and become a yesman, and massage their egos. They are the most petty people I have encountered in my whole life.

Pros

Most of the 5 stars reviews you see are forced by HR. They will tell you to give at the time of joining. Now i will tell you guys my real review about the company.. They show like they are great human beings and they are helping the youth of india and all those things but in reality only the employees know that have a huge favouritism and politics in the company. I joined this company with huge hopes genuinely wanted to contribute in the vision of the company but ended up getting disappointed. They laid off their tech team without thinking twice without getting transparent. In my opinion CEO has no knowledge running a company should resign.. most of the people will just dream you about huge things but generally don’t have any plan of action. If you talk with founders than you are their favourite otherwise you won’t get any credit of your work and they won’t think twice firing you. The people which are left in the company have no clue to run a tech business at all.

Cons

No proper vision They will judge you via talking skills rather than your work.
