Pros

Provide opportunities to learn and upgrade own profile.

Cons

No proper guidance and document guidelines provided. Will be on free labour from 5:30 to midnight if you need to work during that period. Alot of work for you to complete due to high turn over rate but the salary doesn’t match the workload.

Pros

Except for a few good-hearted folks, nothing else. Should avoid this company and the directors totally.

Cons

No good HR practice. They don't care about feedback. No appraisal system. They grade based on who the ICT Directors like. No direction. They steer products based on who are on good terms with the ICT Directors or which vendors can give them awards. No accountability. ICT Directors let team members roam and swim with no guidance. Poor culture. Forces employees to read their Japan HQ philosophy book. No actions to improve overall morale. Charges employees for coffee even. Very enclosed. Very focused on their Japanese customers etc. MNC sales team is kept very small and no efforts on anything non-JP. Employees not very much involved in JP will not be liked by the ICT Directors. No planning. Focuses only at sales. Horrible thinking of only focusing at getting revenue in and ignoring operations. No maintenance on their ICT equipment, no preparation or investment internally and over-promise to customer. When issues happen, ICT Directors only blame internal engineers. Price fixing. They like to engage with vendors who they like or within their circle. More often than not, of their nationality. Even if cost is higher. No standards on procurement. Discrimination on nationality. Being a local-registered company but does not have any interests in local. Be it staff or customers. Seemingly only for their own agenda. Understand their origins of the ICT Directors nationality will tell you more. Lousy ICT management. Team organization structure changes 2 times every year to adjust who they like or don't like. Not based on performance. No performance structure review in the first place. Messy. Only talk. Says want to be best ICT company in Singapore but no actions to prove.

Pros

Some really knowledgeable, kind colleagues who are happy to spend time teaching you as much as possible. Yearly company trip. Good bonuses.

Cons

Management has no idea what they’re doing and creates policies that make no logical sense. You are evaluated based on how much your boss likes you and not your actual performance as there are no clear KPIs or proper evaluations done. People who are not doing any work are not fired and the responsible employees end up having to cover their workload. Management is made up of expats who have short (3year) visions until they go back to Japan. Expats who should have been sent back to Japan are still around. They dont want to rock the boat during their tenure and end up not making any improvements whatsoever. Procurement process is a joke and is just creating orders in the system and not any actual vendor negotiation.
