Real clown show over here
Pros
The work itself was great, and coworkers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Management was easy to talk to (though they never had answered to the really important questions)
Cons
I should have seen things coming when I was first hired. It took three different hiring managers and six months to bring me on in the first place. The first two were very extremely poor communicators and would rarely respond to my emails, texts or voicemails. I'll give some credit to the third, she brought me on within a few days of my (now third) interview. Once on the trend unfortunately continued. Range finders were promised at some point prior to my employment but never delivered, with the excuse changing depending on who you asked. I was never provided with a emergency beacon when working in remote areas despite PG&E policy requiring such. (Just ask the PG&E observer who went out in the field with me.) We were stood down for a week by PG&E without ever receiving a proper explanation as to why. This was a clear sign of doom, but management remained tight lipped as to the future of our company even after placing two thirds of our work force on an indefinite stand down.
