      KPW is more than just a place of work

      Pros

      - Atmosphere is fantastic - Majority of the employees here are super welcoming and caring - Everyone has more than just a coworker to coworker relationship and everyone's pretty close - Communicating with management smooth and easy - Principals and office manager are all very understanding - Flexible hours - Value the importance of education - Company has a very bright future At KPW, you don't just feel like an employee; you feel as if you're a part of a "KPW Family," which you don't often find at places of work.

      Cons

      Not many cons with this position, the only issue I've faced is that some employees don't clean areas after themselves and expect for you to do it

      Very Positive work atmosphere. Lots of opportunities to develop your professional career Great in-house technical and professional development programs Great mentoring program Variety of project types, structural / seismic systems/clients World class clients (Tesla, Bayer, Gilead, Stanford University, University of California, FDA Laboratories, DEA laboratories, MERCK, and the list goes on and on) Very Good Benefits package Absolutely beautiful office and location right over the marina, lots of housing in walking distance to work If you are passionate about Structural Engineering and want to develop your skills and profession, this is the place to do it

      Not much. The company is set up to give passionate, creative, friendly and personable engineers the best opportunity to succeed.

      - very busy and work on sizable projects like big firms - retains the values of small firms with a very friendly atmosphere - company makes effort to help employees grow with mentorship programs - fast growing company - BIG desks & custom built powerful pc
