Pros

Zero. The longer I was there and the more I learned about the operation, the more there was to dislike. I enjoyed wearing casual attire to work, but that is fairly common. So, no, nothing good to say about anything this company offered.

Cons

PAY for starters. Work load. Very much a "favorites atmosphere." There was and IS (still know people there) ZERO TOLERANCE for new ideas or critical thinking. Shannon Russo is a megalomaniac dictator... good talker but horrible business leader. ALL TALK. Very fake individual. Cool office furniture, wine glasses in the galley, a blog, social media presence do not mean it's an ethical or innovative company. Kinetix is nothing more than a dressed up low end/volume based churn shop. Period.

Pros

Recruiters are great, but that’s about it.

Cons

Leadership and has no clue whats going on. There are even cliques within leadership — think mean girls. They say you can double your salary with commissions, but that’s a lie. It all depends on which jobs they give you, which depends on favoritism. Additionally, management doesn’t respect workers and constantly gossips about them. There is no transparency and little communication from the top, which bleeds down throughout the organization. People rely on gossip and hearing important things thru the grape vine. Leadership is really out of touch with workers and locks themselves away in their office. They make empty promises and are always pushing for more, even at the cost of quality. The culture is cult like — “drink the kool-aid”. The processes are never ending and the “trainer” is super condescending. There is no teamwork and management turns everything into a competition or “stretch goal”. All of this leads to a toxic work environment with poor leadership.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. I think it's true that we aren't for everyone, but I want to first focus on your first item - our recruiters are great. That's a true statement. While we're a medium sized business, we're fortunate to have great people in every area, and since recruiting is our business, no area is more important than that one. Related to ability to earn, we've got a long track history of providing recruiters with an excellent ability to earn. That's always been consistent. Certain areas can go up and down in certain years based on client mix, but we're proud of what we can provide recruiters. I'm sorry if you didn't have a chance to experience that. On the gossip side of the equation, please look up my title on LinkedIn and reach out - I'd love to hear more. There's no such thing as perfect workplace, but we work hard at routine all-hands meetings to talk about what's going on, recognize great work and more. We'd love to hear more about your specific experiences, so please reach out if you're willing. Most importantly, good luck with your career moving forward.

Pros

There is a gym downstairs. Also a cafeteria.

Cons

Just so many things here. Starts at the top. CEO and her other partner portray to have it all figured out. They reference a blog and so many things they are involved with, but never seem to move things forward from start. The internal leaders are worse (MS & DB). DB has the ego the size of Atlanta and is about as self-serving and condescending as they come. The staff has zero confidence in leadership and whispers have become screams about how bad things are. Kinetix is a very clicky organization. Like Middle School without the slow dance. Training and development is just as bad. Tech upgrades, like BD, just isn't happening here. After three long years had to bounce after being talked down too for the last time from DB, having multiple job orders removed after the client pulled the posting (due to gimmicky "Kinetixized" position description) and repeated promosises for changes. Base pay is low and commission are slow.

Hi - first up, sorry you look back and feel you didn't have a good experience at our company. As a fairly young company, the only constant is change, and I'm sure you felt that. I can't say that anyone at our company can say they have it all figured out. We're imperfect as a company, but working to get better. Our Ops leaders have a tough job - ensuring we provide a high level of service to our clients while providing the best work environment we can. The training we provide has never been better, but we continue to work on it. We do unbelievable work for our clients as a team! Related to pay, we're very proud of the opportunity to earn we provide. It's true that our target comp is comprised of 50% base and 50% incentive, but there's no limit on the incentive upside. Commissions aren't slow, we pay in the following month once they are earned, which is customary. We have many recruiters earning great livings - we're proud to provide the opportunity and they deserve it - they're great at what they do. Related to your claims of fake reviews - we don't do that. The rating would be higher if we did, and the last review before this one wouldn't be 8-9 months ago. There's a lot of balanced reviews on us here that provide a mix of feedback (good and bad) that people can learn from. The last year has been a great one for our company. If you spent 3 years with our team in a great market for recruiters, you were undoubtedly a good recruiter and we trust you had more positive experiences than you are sharing here - or you wouldn't have stayed. Thank you for your contributions when you were here.
