      Poorly managed, poorly paid boys club.

      Pros

      First company in Oz to target defence companies and so work with a number of players in this industry.

      Cons

      I can only assume that the owner wrote the first glowing Glassdoor review himself. Little regard or respect for staff or customers. Overbearing, aggressive management style which translates to client approach. Poor business values. Terrible commission structure. Constant staff turnover.

      Good training ground for young recruiters, average commission schemes, great parties

      Pros

      For those that are willing to work hard, you will fit in at Kinetic. The training given to young recruiters was extremely useful and has helped me immensely. Although the targets are high, they are obtainable for those that are motivated. Management have a propensity for throwing great events and parties. Good company for young sales professionals or someone starting out their career in recruitment or sales. Reasonable work hours (e.g. 8.30am to 6pm). Not the best place for experienced recruiters that want to earn the big dollars and commission cheques. Plenty of alcohol stored in the bar fridge!

      Cons

      Commission scheme borders on mediocre especially compared to my current employer (currently earning almost triple with similar output). Need to be careful of one of the directors (he unexpectedly fired 3 staff members on xmas eve in 2009!).

      The Kinexus brand opens doors in the Defence sector

      Cons

      A toxic work environment housing toxic, egotistical tyrants. You are either in the club here, or you are an underling. The managers speak to you and treat you like cannon fodder. At every stage, they will try to claw back money owed. And don't even think about getting either your due commissions, or even your statutory benefits when you quit - the owner will find any excuse to not pay. A horrible experience. A learning experience. But what a terrible, toxic lesson it was.
