Pros

You can work remotely as a developer

Cons

Toxic work environment, management is so entitled that they think people should work extra hours without extra pay. Software is so buggy that you'll spend all your day fixing bugs yet you'll still be expected to finish the 200 tickets you've been assigned because they're too cheap to hire other developers "Culture" in this company is so ridiculous it's actually funny: It's either pizza night where literally everyone in there hates the pizza because again the management is too cheap to spend on their employees OR the CEO talking about his struggles when he founded this company even though mommy and daddy paid for everything. I seriously cannot complain enough about how cheap the management is. People come and go and none of that gets announced. A colleague of mine was literally fired and management said that he decided to leave. Honestly, I can keep talking about cons all day, so just trust me and skip this one unless you're reaaaaaaaaally desperate.

Not a pleasant workplace

Pros

It's a challenging environment but even then, I didn't learn much.

Cons

Certain 'managers' are emotionally loaded and went off on some of the nicest co-workers I've ever worked with. I'd even go as far as to say it was emotionally abusive. Hours are long, deadlines are tight and management is out of touch of what a great working environment looks like, even when half the team complained about it.

Pros

- some good colleagues who are passionate and kind.

Cons

- No autonomy in decision-making, it's next level micro managment. Founders are more dictators than leaders. - Poor management with no leadership experience. - Founders are cheap and does not invest on the people. - Poor communication in the workplace and toxic environment. - High expectations and tight deadlines leading to overtimes and poor quality. - Terrible product and technical debt and absence of documentation. - No long term strategy or vision at all. - Obsess with analytics but don't know what to do with it. Data dependent.
