It's a small, fast-paced company, so if you're on the ball you can make amazing things happen in short amounts of time. It's very easy to take something, and run with it.
Cons
The compensation is definitely below average -- it's a small company, so there simply aren't as many resources to go around. You're in charge of making sure things work out.
