A Few Bad Apples Spoil the Bunch

Pros

Worked with a lot of genuinely passionate, intelligent and forward thinking women, but none of them had any real say in what the company was doing. Being around beautiful jewelry all the time is cool. You get a birthday credit and a gift at Christmas, plus a steep discount year round (though still overinflated from the item's cost for most items).

Cons

Overt racism from white women who've worked there forever. I'm not even talking about low key racism (ie. making sure your black employees are not in promotion tracks and are in lower paid positions, which is also true here!) I'm talking about hearing the phrase "all black people are lazy" VERBATIM. MULTIPLE TIMES. IN CONVERSATIONS THAT WERE NOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE OR EVEN WORK ETHIC IN GENERAL. MULTIPLE TIMES EVEN AFTER I DIRECTLY SAID I DID NOT AGREE WITH THE STATEMENT. I watched one black woman get fired for doing something the white women in this company do on a regular basis with impunity. I've watched black women get write ups and warnings because a white woman cried. There were multiple stretches of time where we had no HR person at all. The things I overheard and the things that were said directly to me were nothing short of appalling. There is no excuse for this.

Not a good place for a creative professional.

Pros

They do seem to generally value their employees, with occasional team lunches and dinners. The discount is also good if you are actually a fan of their jewelry.

Cons

If you are a creative professional, this is not the place for you. The office space, and even the neighborhood, is very, very uninspiring. You will be expected to use an old PC - no matter your design or tech needs. Also, you will find that most of your workday is spent preparing documents on top of documents, and attending meeting after meeting - some as long as 3 hours. I found this kind of culture to be incredibly counter-productive when it comes to actually getting things done. It's downright frustrating. The management team seems to be a bit oblivious to their own brand perception / creative weaknesses, and consistently makes bad decisions when it comes to brand image and credibility.

Pros

The ONLY pro is the free jewelry for your birthday and Christmas

Cons

I can’t believe there are positive reviews for this place and I’m questioning their validity. I wouldn’t recommend anyone working here. Extremely dull working environment with egotistical maniacs as leaders. Weird office rules where emphasis is put on time in the office instead of quality of work being done. Really strict on in-office with no flexibility, which is ironic because everyone sits silence in the office and they never create any sort of fun environment or incentives for their employees. The sense of urgency is insane for an jewelry company and there is a constant circle of blame game and lack of accountability and professionalism from leaders. Leaders actually openly argue with one another while their team sits on calls. Leaders also talk inappropriately and openly about body weight, eating disorders, and mental illness. Everyone joins teams calls where echoing is constant considering they are all in the same room which defeats the purpose of forcing your employees in the office. Retention is terrible and they continually hire externally instead of promoting internal employees. There is no career structure or growth plan. HR is useless and is there to protect power-tripping leadership rather than to help the employees in any way. They paused any promotions or growth from 2025-2026 which is laughable given they had “record profits” and want us to celebrate those while doing nothing to appreciate the employees that got them there.
