Management solution for bad Glasdoor reviews is to blame disgruntled employees for them and ask the happy campers to come here and praise the new administration. Take all positive comments from Aug 27 onwards with a pinch of salt.

There are serious organization and hr integrity for Lazada Singapore. The landscape is also led by complicated political and government structures, on the pretext of chinese nation superiority and technology. Many of the HRs are occupied by their own overhire and turnover. Suspicious policies of rigged reviews ingrained in the singapore company ecosystem. This place has never been interested in long term hires, or the pretence of 'permanent hires' and 'fair culture'. Toxic employees hiring and learning ground. It feels like we are here to deceive others to join the company. Needless to say, reorganizations happen too quickly for questionable purposes. Good luck to selling the company.

Used to be great place when the original founders were still around, the last one left in 2022.

No direction, no clear strategy and no hope of winning - that's what it feels like inside the company. It should not surprise anyone that Lazada has had 3 CEO changes in 3 years. The only good thing that has happened to Lazada is that their biggest competitor - Shopee - has had a very bad luck with their market expansion globally - it is nothing to do with Lazada execution. Anyone working in the regional team, will see that the company has no strategy to grow the business or to win in the market. They are waiting for Shopee to screw up some more. It feels like a slow speed car crash. There is a senior leadership change every 6 months - COO and CEO's come and go - which points to no clear strategy and no confidence in the execution.

Changes changes changes No clear direction Management only knows how to give tasks, but don't evaluate how ridiculous some tasks are, or how employees are able to cope with so much work. The only way to excel is to put in the hours = work overtime and over the weekend. Otherwise, you will not be able to catch up and deemed to be under-perfoming. Tasks kept piling, overworked, over-stressed, undervalued. KPI changes often

Overall Lazada SG has a good working environment where everyone works well together and is supportive of each other's work. Team dynamic and management style depends on which department you are in; most teams members and bosses are good. The staff benefits are not bad- good maternity benefits, optical, dental and fitness benefits are available too.

While benefits are good, salary can be more competitive and better. Work life balance is good if you are BD. But if you are a KAM, or Ops person- then... it really depends on campaigns calendar. Management style really depends on your department- some allow a good level of autonomy and trust, while some maybe micromanaging.
